That is our mission at JWD, through wind energy development we are able to play an important role in today’s social infrastructure by producing and utilizing renewable energy. Even though wind is everywhere it is only recently that it has been considered as an important energy resource.
Today, climate change is a global concern and there are high expectations for the role of renewable energy in environmental policy. Renewable energy technologies such as wind, solar and biomass are being rapidly developed and are gaining in social acceptance. In this situation we at JWD are at the forefront of efforts to improve technical capability and gather expertise and by doing so create a nationwide network for growth in the wind power business.
This requires a strong development capability which allows us to take an active role in supplying electricity from wind power. At JWD we have tried to find ways to locate the best wind resources, develop highly efficient wind farms and provide professional O&M. Moreover, we use the latest control technology, acquired through the development and operation of battery controlled wind farms, with the goal of being a leading energy business solution partner.

History

1999 Jul. The Company was incorporated with its head office at Nishi-Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The purpose was the development of wind power generation plants and sale of wind-generated power.
2000 Oct. The Head Office was moved to 1-6-14, Nishi-Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
2003 Mar. The Company listed its stock on the TSE Mothers.
Sep. The Head Office was moved to 2-5-5, Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
2009 Jul. The company celebrated its 10th Anniversary.
2011 May The Head Office was moved to 1-1-15, Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
Oct. JWD Tohoku head office was established in Rokkasho-mura, Kamikita-gun, Aomori.
2014 Aug. The Company changed its listed market to TSE 2nd section.
Nov. The Head Office was moved to 1-4-14 Nishi-shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
2015 Sep. Became a 100% subsidiary of JWD Holdings Co., Ltd., and was delisted.
2019 May The Head Office was moved to 1-1-6, Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
Jul. The company celebrated its 20th Anniversary.
2022 Mar. The Head Office was moved to the present address.
May JWD Hokkaido branch office was established in Chuo-ku, Sapporo-shi, Hokkaido.
